to The Linden Summer Happening
Festival official web site. Be sure to join us in downtown
Linden for a weekend of fun for all ages. Special events are
happening every day starting June 25th thru the 29th of June
2008.
The five day event will be an event that you and your

Our Huge Entertainment Tent

the festival
starts off with the opening ceremonies with
the annual
"Taste of L.A. Food Festival". Where visitors from local
restaurants and eateries from the surrounding
communities of Argentine, Linden and Fenton come
together under the large entertainment tent to socialize
and experience the local cuisine and listen to some
great live music. Also kicking off our Thursday's
events, check out our large "Midway"
opening at 6 PM. Fun for kids and adults of all ages.
brings a large
assortment of activities from "Fishing Contests",
a
"Dunk Tank", our annual "Pedal Pusher Tractor Pull",
"Wee Ladd/Wee Miss" contest,
"Street Dance" downtown Linden, our large
"Craft Show/Flea Market" with crafters from the
area displaying their handicrafts. Also don't miss our
large "Entertainment Tent" which will be
hosting live music for your evening listening
and dancing pleasure or you can try your luck at our
"Texas Hold'em Tournament" located in the VFW
hall. And be sure to catch our
"Fireworks Show" held in the evening
on Friday at Dusk.

"35th Annual Parade" which runs right through the center of
downtown Linden. This is one parade you don't want to miss. Also
our very large "Craft Show/Flea Market"
continues located in beautiful downtown Linden. We also will be
hosting our annual "Pooches in the Pond"
held in the Linden Mill pond as well as many other
events. Way to many to list. And don't to forget about
the fantastic "Entertainment Tent" along with the
"Texas Hold'em Tournament", the "Jaws of Life
Demonstration"
at the Linden Fire Hall, "Line Dance" and
"Street Dance" downtown.
there will be a "1 mile Road Race
and a 5 K Road Race".
And be sure to visit our "Pancake Breakfast" and
then check out our
"14th Annual Car and 11th Annual Bike Show with Chili Cook-off"
which every year is a big hit in the Genesee County area, and
don't forget about our "Fishing Contest"
for the kids, and be sure to catch the "Midway" before
closing at 6:00 PM.
