14th Annual Car Show:
14th Annual Summer Happening Car show located Downtown on Broad St. and Mill Pond Area. Bring your family to see one of the areas largest show with over 100 historic cars. Dash Plaques for the first 100 registered participants. 10 awards in each class.

Where: Downtown Linden

When: Sunday June 29th 10:00 AM 3:00 PM

Cost: $7.00 Registration Fee

Classes: (Two Classes) Before 1948 / 1949 and after

11th Annual Bike Show:

11th Annual Summer Happening Bike show (Hogs & Dogs) located in the Entertainment Tent. Bring you family to see the areas largest bike show or shine your bike up and c'mon out. Many categories featuring, Best Of Show, Best Paint, Best Custom, Best Stock, Rattiest Bike and Battle of the Bars. So sample some Chili and see some great bikes. There will also be a great Mystery Ride after the show.

Where: Entertainment Tent

Registration: Sunday June 29th 11:00 AM to 12:00 (noon)

Judging: Sunday June 29th 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

Awards: Sunday June 29th 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

2nd Annual Linden Summer Happening Chili Cook Off:

The 2nd annual Linden Summer Happening Chili Cook Off will be located in the Entertainment Tent. For detailed info, click the registration link below.

Where: New Union Block Tent

When: Sunday June 29th, 12:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Awards: 2:30 PM

Carnival:
Where: Linden Elementary (Bridge Street), park at Hyatt Elementary, enter off Stan Eaton Dr. (Old Linden Middle School)

The carnival runs from Thursday evening until Sunday evening located on the Linden Middle School grounds. Skerbeck Bros. Show, Inc. will have over 30 rides for all ages. Wrist Bands are available Friday,
Saturday, and Sunday from 12:00 (noon) until 6:00 PM for $To Be Determined.

Craft Show:
Come to Downtown Linden where the streets are filled with crafters displaying and selling their creations on Friday and Saturday.

Where: Downtown Broad Street.

When: Friday June 27th opening at 1:00 PM and Saturday June 28th opening at 11:00 AM.

Fireworks:
Where: Fireworks are set off between Linden Elementary and Hyatt Elementary. Park at Hyatt Elementary (Old Middle School) and enter off Stan Eaton Dr.

Melrose Pyrotechnics, Inc. puts on a fabulous display of fireworks at dusk on both Friday and Saturday with 450 displays. Fireworks are set off at the Linden Elementary School parking lot and the best viewing is in the Linden Middle School and carnival grounds.  Glow-rings and glow-jewelry will be on sale.

The fireworks display is made possible by the generous donations from Linden and the surrounding communities. Please remember to donate when you see the collections so we can continue to provide such a fabulous free show. 4th Annual Fishing Contest

Put your fishing skills to the test and see if you can catch the biggest fish in our second annual Fishing Contest. Get a free fishing pole and use our free bait. Categories are Largest Carp (weight), Largest game fish - Bass, Pike, Walleye Etc. (weight), Largest Pan Fish (Length). All category winners will be awarded with trophies. The contest is made possible by The Linden Sportsmen Club.

Where: Mill Pond Dam

When:Sunday June 29th 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Bait: Free... Free... Free...

Categories: 15 & under group and 16 & over group

34th Annual Parade:
Areas largest parade begins at 12 Noon on Saturday in Linden which begins at Stan Eaton turns left
on S. Bridge St. to W. Broad Street to Hyatt Lane. Line up along the parade route so you don't miss
a thing.

Where: Downtown Linden

When: Saturday June 28th, Line up begins at 8:30 AM Until 12:00. Parade begins at 12:00 (noon) to 1:00 PM or until finished.

(NEW) Pooches In The Pond:
Bring your Dogs out for an afternoon of Fun! There will be a competition for Dock Diving, Water Retrieves and
everybody wins a ribbon.

Where: At the Mill Pond in Linden

When: Saturday June 28th at 2:00PM to 6:00 PM

Linden Summer Happening Road Races:
Where: All races start and end near the historic Linden Mill. The one mile course will run near downtown and through Fairview Cemetery. The 5 mile race will be ran on a loop north of downtown and finish in front of the Mill.

When: Sunday June 29th 2007 at 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM.

Awards: Immediately after race

6th Annual Taste of LA:
Join us for the 6th annual "Taste of LA" and sample delicious foods from our finest local restaurants.
