Mission Statement
To promote the welfare of and involve the surrounding communities in an annual festival.

To offer people, regardless of race, creed or color, etc. an opportunity to use their talents in preparing this event.

To bring together neighbors and friends, young and old, to participate in games, entertainment and various activities provided by organizations, clubs, church and school groups and individuals (with emphasis on local participation) who wish to share their ideas or to show and sell their wares or crafts.

To work with other organizations promoting projects and ideas toward the betterment of the community.

The Steering Committee has the right to refuse any applicant admission or space, if, in the opinion of the Steering Committee, their project, ethics or selling tactics are detrimental to the community or are contrary to our objectives or to the laws of this country, state, county or city.

Summer Happening, Inc. shall be non-partisan and non-sectarian.

Community Contributions
The Linden Summer Happening uses the proceeds from the festival to contribute to community events.
